LONDON, May 14 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline profit margins rose by nearly $1 to $14.84 a barrel on Wednesday after sharp losses in the previous session, supported by lower US inventories.
A total of 7,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded in the Argus window on Wednesday, with Gunvor and Trafigura selling to Shell, BP, and Mabanaft.
A further 7,200 tons of E10 barges changed hands, with Gunvor and Musket selling to Varo and Litasco.
U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI fell by 1 million barrels last week to 224.7 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 560,000-barrel draw.
Profit margins slumped on Tuesday after Nigeria's Dangote oil refinery cancelled June maintenance at its 204,000 barrels per day gasoline-making unit as it completed planned works during an unplanned shutdown from April 7 to May 11, according to industry monitor IIR.
Meanwhile, EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions are expected to reach 734,000 barrels per day in May, down from 1.1 million bpd in April, Kpler data showed.
