US jet fuel demand hit highest since December 2019 last week, EIA says

NEW YORK, May 7 (Reuters) - U.S. jet fuel demand rose by 474,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the week ended May 2 and surpassed 2 million bpd for the first time since December 2019, data from the Energy Information Administration showed on Wednesday.
Four-week average demand for jet fuel also hit its highest since December 2019 last week, up 39,000 bpd week-over-week to 1.86 million bpd, the EIA said.
