LONDON, April 17 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining profit rose about 30 cents to $12.03 a barrel on Thursday as trading liquidity rose sharply.
A total of 20,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 traded, with Litasco selling one barge to Varo in the Platts window and Trafigura selling the rest on an Argus basis to Litasco and Varo.
Another 9,000 tons of Eurobob E10 traded, with Gunvor and ExxonMobil selling to BP, Varo and TotalEnergies.
U.S. gasoline stocks fell by 2 million barrels in the week to 234 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 1.6 million-barrel draw.
EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions are expected to reach 875,000 barrels per day (bpd) in April, broadly steady from March levels, Kpler data shows.
