WASHINGTON, April 8 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he will tap the Defense Production Act to boost coal mining, a move that could put the federal purse behind reviving the fading industry in the United States.
Trump is signing executive orders on Tuesday to boost coal production in the U.S.
