Canadian measures against US tariffs will be deliberate, says Carney

OTTAWA, April 1 (Reuters) - Canada will be "very deliberate" when it comes to the counter measures it imposes if U.S. President Donald Trump goes ahead with a tariff plan, Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Tuesday.
Carney, speaking to reporters in Winnipeg, also said Ottawa would not disadvantage Canadian producers and workers relative to American workers. He did not give details.
