MOSCOW, March 19 (Reuters) - A fire at the private Yaysk oil refinery in Russia's Kemerovo region has been put out, Ilya Serdyuk, the local governor, said in a post on Telegram.
He did not say what had caused the blaze, but said in a separate comment that the fire had not started as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack.
The mid-sized Yaysk plant, located in a coal-mining region in Siberia, refined 3.331 million tonnes of crude oil in 2024, according to industry sources.
