TMHCCI appoints Miller's Eagles marine cargo senior underwriter

March 19 - (The Insurer) - Tokio Marine HCC International has appointed Rebecca Eagles as senior underwriter for marine cargo.

In her new role, Eagles will be responsible for the growth of the insurer's marine cargo business along with other marine underwriting projects.

London-based Eagles has joined following a five-year stint at Miller, latterly as cargo practice lead. Before that she was Gallagher's associate director for marine cargo and held roles at Ramon International Insurance Brokers.

Other recent senior appointments in the cargo market include that of Stephen Smyth as Hamilton Insurance Group's cargo head.
