U.S. reported first outbreak of H7N9 bird flu on farm since 2017, WOAH says

PARIS, March 17 (Reuters) - The United States reported a first outbreak of H7N9 bird flu on a poultry farm since 2017, the World Organisation for Animal Health said on Monday, citing U.S. authorities.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza, commonly called bird flu, has spread around the globe in the past years, including the U.S., leading to the culling of hundreds of millions of poultry.
