CMA CGM in talks with US shipyards, CEO tells Les Echos

PARIS, March 7 (Reuters) - CMA CGM is in talks with shipyards about the possibility of having medium-sized container vessels built in the United States, the French shipping group's CEO Rodolphe Saade told Les Echos newspaper.
"We are in talks with several shipyards to see how long it would take and at what cost," he said in an interview published on Friday, a day after he unveiled with U.S. President Donald Trump a plan to invest $20 billion in the United States.
