MOSCOW, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Tuesday that the volume of oil pumped through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) was down by 30-40% due to a Ukrainian drone attack on a pumping station in southern Russia.
"As a result of the attack, energy equipment, a gas turbine unit, and a substation were damaged. And as a result of the activation of the backup pumping circuit, bypassing the Kropotkin pumping station, we see a decrease in pumping volumes by approximately 30-40% compared to the level before the drone attack," Novak said in televised comments.
