US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis flat as futures climb

CHICAGO, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Basis bids for hard red winter wheat were steady at locations in the U.S. Southern Plains on Thursday as futures rose.

Protein premiums for HRW wheat shipped by rail to or through Kansas City were unchanged for all protein grades of wheat.KCBT/SCA

Snow in the U.S. Plains is protecting its wheat crop from winterkill despite cold temperatures this week, according to Maxar.

K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH25 ended 6-3/4 cents higher at $5.98-1/4 per bushel. WHE/C
