ReutersFeb 11, 2025 8:27 PM

- Basis bids for hard red winter wheat were steady at locations in the U.S. Southern Plains on Tuesday as futures eased.

There is some risk of winterkill in the southwestern U.S. Plains this week due to lack of snow, according to Commodity Weather Group.

Protein premiums for HRW wheat shipped by rail to or through Kansas City rose by 1 cent for wheat with 13% protein content. Premiums for other grades were unchanged. KCBT/SCA

K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH25 settled down 4 cents at $5.92-3/4 per bushel near midday. WHE/C
