US Cash Grains-Soy bids mostly flat as futures tick down

CHICAGO, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for soybeans were mostly steady at elevators, river terminals and processors around the U.S. Midwest on Monday, a spot check showed. Corn basis bids were unchanged.

The one exception was a processor in Des Moines, Iowa, where the soy basis rose by 5 cents.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he will order new tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum into the U.S., and a further set of reciprocal tariffs, sparking fears of retaliatory tariffs by impacted countries on U.S. agricultural exports.

CBOT most active March corn futures Cv1 rose 4 cents to settle at $4.91-1/2 a bushel.

CBOT most active March soybeans Sv1 ended flat at $10.49-1/2 per bushel.
