Feb 3 (Reuters) - Lindt LISN.S expects any potential impact from U.S. tariffs to be very limited given that the vast majority of its products sold in the US are produced locally, a spokesperson of the Swiss chocolate maker told Reuters.
President Donald Trump has announced he will impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico and 10% tariffs on China but he has not outlined so far any concrete measure impacting European firms.
North America is Lindt's second biggest market, accounting for sales of 2.15 billion Swiss francs ($2.34 billion) in 2024.
