Port Freeport resumes normal operations, Houston and Galveston shut

HOUSTON, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Port Freeport resumed normal operations on Wednesday as winter storm Enzo moved away from Texas, while the ports of Houston and Galveston remained shut to vessel traffic, according to a shipping notice seen by Reuters.
Freeport had reduced operations on Tuesday amid low temperatures and snow in Texas, which forced the closure of several school districts, businesses and roads. Freeport LNG's operations were shut on Tuesday due to a power feed problem.
