Unfortunate that US withdrawing from Paris agreement, EU climate chief says

BRUSSELS, Jan 21 (Reuters) - The European Union's climate policy chief Wopke Hoekstra said on Tuesday it was unfortunate that U.S. President Donald Trump has once again withdrawn the United States from the Paris climate deal.
"It is truly an unfortunate development that the world's largest economy, and one of our closest allies in the fight against climate change, is withdrawing from the Paris Agreement", Hoekstra said on social media platform X.
