US drillers cut oil and gas rigs for first time in six weeks - Baker Hughes

Jan 10 (Reuters) - U.S. energy firms this week cut the number of oil and natural gas rigs operating for the first time in six weeks, energy services firm Baker Hughes BKR.O said in its closely followed report on Friday.
The oil and gas rig count, an early indicator of future output, fell by 5 to 584 in the week to Jan. 10, the lowest since November. RIG-USA-BHI, RIG-OL-USA-BHI, RIG-GS-USA-BHI
