Corrects magnitude of decline in first paragraph to 3.3 million bpd, not 219,000 bpd
NEW YORK, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Total U.S. petroleum product supplied fell by 3.3 million barrels per day (bpd) to about 18.5 million bpd in the week ended December 27, the lowest since January 2023, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed on Thursday.
Product supplied, EIA's proxy for demand, fell by the most last week since a 4.6 million bpd decline in the week ended Dec 30, 2022, which was the most in records going back to 1991.
