Nearly all of Puerto Rico dark on power grid collapse

Dec 31 (Reuters) - Nearly all of Puerto Rico was in darkness on Tuesday morning after the power grid collapsed, data showed.
Around 90% of clients on the island were without power at 9 a.m. local time, according to energy distribution company Luma Energy's real-time portal. Power generator Genera, meanwhile, showed just one backup plant producing energy.
