The Ensign Group, Inc. is a holding company with independent subsidiaries that provide health care services across the post-acute care continuum and engages in the ownership, acquisition, development and leasing of skilled nursing, senior living and other healthcare-related properties and ancillary businesses. Its segments include Skilled Services and Standard Bearer. The Skilled Services segment includes the operation of skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation therapy services. The Standard Bearer segment comprises selected real estate properties owned by Standard Bearer and leased to skilled nursing and senior living operators. The Company's portfolio includes approximately 334 healthcare operations, 30 of which also include senior living operations, across 15 states. It offers healthcare facilities in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.
