TJX Q2 FY2027 Earnings: Adjusted Margin Expands as Comparable Sales Rise 4%
TJX Companies’ Q2 FY2027 net sales increased 5% to $15.18 billion, consolidated comparable sales rose 4%, and diluted EPS climbed 24% to $1.36. Excluding the net benefit from IEEPA tariff refunds and related compensation accruals, adjusted EPS was $1.22, up 11%, while adjusted pretax margin expanded 0.5 percentage points to 11.9%. HomeGoods, Canada, and International outpaced Marmaxx, and TJX raised its full-year pretax margin and EPS guidance while maintaining its 3% to 4% comparable-sales outlook.

ZIM Q2 2026 Earnings: Higher Freight Rates Lift Revenue, but EBIT Slips
ZIM’s Q2 2026 revenue rose 9% to $1.78 billion as the average freight rate increased 8% and carried volume grew 3%. Diluted EPS climbed to $0.53 from $0.19, and net income reached $64 million, although reported operating income slipped to $144 million. Adjusted EBITDA increased 4% to $491 million, while free cash flow declined to $386 million. Pacific trade volumes drove the volume increase, and full-year guidance calls for $2.0 billion to $2.4 billion of adjusted EBITDA amid the pending Hapag-Lloyd transaction.
