May 5 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes recovered on Tuesday as oil prices fell despite renewed Middle East tensions that threatened to upend a fragile truce after the U.S. and Iran exchanged fire ​in the Gulf. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.60% at 49,233.58. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.79% at 7,257.99 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.98% at 25,313.67.
