Shares of utility Entergy ETR.N rise 6.8% to $110.05

Company's Louisiana unit says Meta Platforms META.O will pay full-service costs for the planned hyperscale data center in Richland Parish under an additional agreement

ETR expects the agreement to deliver ~$2 billion in savings to Entergy's Louisiana customers over 20 years, in addition to $650 million previously announced

Company also plans to carry out a major build-out of generation, transmission and storage infrastructure, paid for by Meta, to support the project
