Shares of U.S.-based LNG firm Venture Global VG.N rise 1.6% to $9.62 premarket

Company on Thursday signed a deal to supply 1.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Korea's Hanwha Aerospace Co 012450.KS for 20 years starting 2030

VG said the deal brings the company's total long-term contracted portfolio to more than 46 MTPA

As of last close, shares are up 38.9% YTD
