Ormat Technologies climbs after deal with NV Energy to supply clean power for Google

Shares of renewable energy company Ormat Technologies ORA.N rise 4.6% to $123.65
Co signs agreement with NV Energy to support Google's operations in Nevada with up to 150 megawatt (MW) of new geothermal capacity
ORA says the agreement requires approval from the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada, which is expected to rule in the second half of 2026
ORA added that the projects will come online starting as early as 2028 and continue through 2030
In 2025, ORA was up 59.8%
