RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN ended little changed at 90.6725 per U.S. dollar, as intermittent intervention by the Reserve Bank of India slowed the currency's drift toward the psychologically important 91-per-dollar mark.INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN064835G=CC was quoted at 98.725 rupees, with the yield marginally lower at 6.66% after stronger-than-expected demand for state debt lifted sentiment, while benign U.S. Treasury yields and surplus liquidity conditions added to the positive backdrop. IN/
