The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was up 0.21% to 83,450.96 and the broader NSE Nifty 50 index .NSEI advanced 0.17% to 25,725.40, led by a rally in information technology stocks after software major Infosys announced a tie-up with U.S. artificial intelligence startup Anthropic. .BO

RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN dropped 0.02% versus the U.S. dollar to 90.6725, as intermittent intervention by the Reserve Bank of India slowed the currency's drift toward the psychologically important 91-per-dollar mark. INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN064835G=CC was quoted at 98.745 rupees, with the yield down nearly 1 bp at 6.6571%. IN/

OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was up 1 basis point at 5.5% and the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC rose 1 bp to 6.0375%.

CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 4.80% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 4.69%.
