
Jan 7 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened muted on Wednesday, as investors took a breather after an AI-driven rally in the previous session, while awaiting a labor market report due later in the day.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI rose 50.6 points, or 0.10%, at the open to 49,512.72. The S&P 500 .SPX fell 0.3 points at the open to 6,945.07, while the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC dropped 2.3 points, or 0.01%, to 23,544.894 at the opening bell.
