EUROPE BEFORE THE BELL: RISK-OFF AFTER BLUE-RIBBON WEEK

European stock futures are softer on Monday after last week's stellar performance, with riskier assets taking a hit in early trade.

Stocks in Asia .MIAPJ0000PUS slid overnight, Wall Street futures EScv1 are down and bitcoin BTC= has shed over 5%.

Euro STOXX 50 futures STXec1 are down 0.4%. Futures on indexes in Paris FCEc1, Frankfurt FDXc1 and London FFIc1 are off between 0.2%-0.6%.

There doesn't appear to be a single catalyst for the risk-off mood, although some are pointing to another rise in Japanese bond yields after BOJ Governor Ueda fuelled expectations that the central bank could again hike rates in December. Japan's 10-year bond yield is at its highest in 17 years.

In Europe, traders will be watching Airbus AIR.PA at the open after the Paris-listed company recalled 6,000 A320 jets over the weekend for software changes after a vulnerability to solar flares emerged. The company's shares are up around 2% on the Tradegate platform.
