Shares of UK-based betting firms fall after Britain's Office for Budget Responsibility says finance minister Rachel Reeves is set to increase duties on gambling firms

OBR says from April 2026, remote gaming duty will increase to 40% from 21%; 10% bingo duty to be abolished

From April 2027, new rate of general betting duty for remote betting will be introduced at 25%, OBR says

Playtech PTEC.L and Gaming Realms GMRG.L down between 0.6% and 1%
