Wall Street's main indexes were mixed at the open on Tuesday as investors took stock of a series of delayed economic data to gauge the health of the U.S. economy, while Alphabet gained after a report said Meta was in talks to spend billions on the Google parent's chips. .N

At 10:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.45% at 46,663.14. The S&P 500 .SPX was flat at 6,705.06, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.42% at 22,775.83.
