Shares of mining company Freeport-McMoRan FCX.N down 9.7% at $40.97
Company expects consolidated sales in Q3 to be about 4% lower for copper and around 6% lower for gold than July 2025 estimates
In July, it had previously forecast Q3 consolidated sales of 1 billion pounds of copper and 350,000 ounces of gold
FCX also confirms fatal injuries to two members in the mud rush incident at the Grasberg Block Cave mine in Indonesia
Including session's moves, FCX shares up 7.6% YTD
