Sept 23 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.11%.
* SMITHS GROUP: Engineering firm Smiths Group SMIN.L reported annual headline operating profit above market estimates, helped by strong demand for its upgraded baggage-screening kits and explosives detectors amid rising global security needs.
* KINGFISHER: European home improvement retailer KingfisherKGF.L raised its full year profit outlook after reporting a 10.2% rise for the first half, driven by a strong performance in the UK.
* RASPBERRY PI: Raspberry Pi RPI.L, the single-board computer maker, said its second half had started well, with earnings ahead of last year and demand strengthening as it reported a 7% drop in adjusted earnings to $19.4 million for the six months to end-June.
* MAGNUM: Unilever's ULVR.L Magnum ice cream business, set to publicly list in November, plans to use Chilean start-up NotCo's artificial intelligence to reformulate products and create new ones.
* UK-US ON CRYPTO COOPERATION: The governments of Britain and the United States will set up a body to reduce red tape for firms seeking to access capital markets on both sides of the Atlantic and improve cooperation on crypto assets, Britain's finance ministry said on Monday.
* SHELL: The Malaysian Court of Appeal has overturned a High Court injunction that allowed Shell MDS (Malaysia) to halt its monthly gas payments to national energy firm Petronas from August 2024, local media reported on Monday.
* GSK: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced approval of leucovorin, a form of folic acid that U.S. President Donald Trump was slated to suggest as a treatment for autism symptoms at a White House event on Monday. GSK GSK.L previously manufactured leucovorin and sold it under the name Wellcovorin.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices declined for a fifth consecutive session on Tuesday, gold prices steadied after reaching a record high, and copper dipped slightly after a two-day rise.
