BEFORE THE BELL: FUTURES UP, US COURT WIN FOR ORSTED

European shares were poised for a modestly higher open on Tuesday, buoyed by a tech-driven rally on Wall Street amid renewed AI optimism following Nvidia's partnership with OpenAI.

EuroSTOXX50, DAX and FTSE futures were up between 0.1 and 0.4%, while U.S. futures steadied after posting closing record highs again the day before.

Among stocks, Orsted ORSTED.CO was set for a strong gain after a U.S. court ruling cleared the way to resume work on its nearly completed Revolution Wind project off the Rhode Island coast. Traders called the stock up around 10%.

Attention was also on ASM International ASMI.AS after the computer chip equipment maker cut its revenue target for the second half of 2025, ahead of its investor day on Tuesday. The warning, which sent its shares down 6% on Tradegate, might dampen the mood in European tech .SX8P this morning.

UK engineering firm Smiths Group SMIN.L reported annual headline operating profit above market estimates. Eyes were also on GSK GSK.L as the Trump administration has asked drug companies to be prepared to ramp up production of leucovorin as a treatment for some autism patients.
