
July 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Wednesday, led by heavyweight mining shares, as investors assessed tariff-related updates and cooler-than-expected U.S. producer prices data.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.1% at 27,082.11 points.
