The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.4% versus the U.S. dollar to 85.40, after weak U.S. jobs data bolstered Fed rate cut bets, while a U.S.-Vietnam trade deal lifted regional sentiment. INR/

The benchmark 10-year bond IN063335G=CC was quoted at 100.26 rupees, with the yield little changed at 6.2923%, as traders awaited U.S. data and RBI's next step in liquidity management. IN/
