
June 25 (Reuters) - Wall Street's S&P 500 and Nasdaq indexes rose on Wednesday, hovering near a record peak, as a ceasefire between Israel and Iran appeared to be holding and investors awaited more comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI rose 41.3 points, or 0.10%, at the open to 43,130.33. The S&P 500 .SPX rose 12.0 points, or 0.20%, at the open to 6,104.23, while the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC rose 101.4 points, or 0.51%, to 20,013.947 at the opening bell.
