Turkey - Factors to watch on June 24

ISTANBUL, June 24 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Tuesday.

The lira TRYTOM=D3 traded at 39.6350 against the U.S. dollar at 0137 GMT, compared with a close on Monday of 39.5600.

The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 0.67% lower at 9,141.31 points on Monday.

GLOBAL MARKETS

Global shares rallied and the dollar extended declineson Tuesday after U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran and Israel had agreed to a ceasefire, sending oil prices into a deep dive as concerns over supply disruptions ebbed. Writing on his Truth Social site, Trump implied a ceasefire would go into effect in 12 hours, after which the war would be considered "ended".

ERDOGAN ATTENDS NATO SUMMIT

President Tayyip Erdogan joins the leaders of other NATO countries gathering in The Hague, Netherlands, for the annual NATO summit. He is expected to hold a press conference before departing Turkey for the summit.

PARLIAMENTARY GROUP MEETINGS

Ozgur Ozel, leader of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), will make a speech at the CHP's parliamentary group meeting. (1030 GMT)
