RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.25% versus the U.S. dollar to 85.00, tracking gains in its Asian peers and hoisted by dollar sales from exporters. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN063335G=CC was quoted at 100.94 rupees, with the yield marginally lower at 6.2008% as value buying emerges after an uptick in early trades as central bank's surplus transfer to government was lower than anticipated. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was up 1 basis point at 5.55%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC was nearly flat at 5.63%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 5.60%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 5.75%
