UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 22

- Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening down on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.35%.

CITY OF LONDON: City Of London Investment Group CLIG.L reported a $170 million outflow from emerging markets in the three months to March 31, citing uncertainty from tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.

DCC: British sales and marketing services provider DCC DCC.L said it will sell its healthcare division to private equity firm Investindustrial Advisors' investment unit for a total enterprise value of 1.05 billion pounds ($1.41 billion).

OIL: Oil prices climbed as investors took advantage of the previous day's losses to cover short positions, although concerns persisted over economic headwinds from tariffs and U.S. monetary policy.

GOLD: Gold prices continued their record rally, with concerns over Trump's criticism of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell dampening risk sentiment.

METALS: Copper prices in London hit a more than two-week high, tracking a sharp fall in the dollar.
