BROAD GAINS LIFT THE STOXX
The tariff reprieve on smartphones and other electronics is lifting European shares at the open on Monday in a broad-based bounce that's pushing the STOXX 600 .STOXX up by around 2%.
Tech .SX8P stocks are among the strongest gainers, in good company with banks .SX7P, energy .SXEP and miners .SXPP. Bond-proxy utilities .SX6P were relative laggards, up 0.6%.
Over 95% of the STOXX constituents are up and no subsector was trading in the red. Here is your opening snapshot:
