Taiwan shares fall at slower pace after stabilisation fund activated
TAIPEI, April 9 (Reuters) - Taiwan's benchmark stock index .TWII opened down around 1% on Wednesday, steadying some from the previous two days of losses after the government activated a $15 billion stabilisation fund.
Shares in top chipmaker TSMC 2330.TW were flat, while Apple supplier Foxconn's 2317.TW shares dropped around 4%.
