STOCKS:

RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.2% to 85.2350 per U.S. dollar, tracking Asian peers. It had rallied to a year-to-date high of 84.9675 earlier before retreating due to corporate hedging demand and a slight uptick in the dollar in the latter half of the session. INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN071034G=CC was quoted at 102.2275 rupees, with the yield down over 2 bps at 6.4724%, tracking the fall in U.S treasury yields and fuelled by rising rate cut bets. IN/

OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was down 5 basis points at 5.93%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC dropped 4 bps to 5.7625%.

CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 6.20% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.04%.
