Miner says it has indefinitely suspended operations at its Los Filos Mine in Guerrero, Mexico, after the expiry of its land access agreement with the community of Carrizalillo on March 31
Company says it has been engaged in discussions with the three communities that host the mine since November 2023, and agreements were signed with two of the three communities in January
Los Filos mine accounted for 170,369 ounces of gold last year — nearly 27% of the company's overall 2024 production
As of last close, both Canadian and U.S.-listed stocks up ~34%
