LIVE MARKETS-US stocks mixed early Tuesday, brace for Trump tariffs

U.S. STOCKS MIXED EARLY TUESDAY, BRACE FOR TRUMP TARIFFS
The main U.S. stock indexes are mixed early on Tuesday, marking the start to Q2, as investors brace for the impending storm of sweeping tariff announcements from the Trump administration.
President Donald Trump is set to unveil "reciprocal tariffs", aligning U.S. duties with those of other nations on April 2. He said on Sunday the levies will include all countries, but specific details were scant.
A majority of S&P 500 .SPX sectors are higher with consumer discretionary .SPLRCD, up just 0.35%, posting the biggest rise.
Healthcare .SPXHC, off around 1%, is taking the biggest hit.
Under the surface, banks .KRX, .SPXBK are among weaker groups.
Markets are also bracing for more economic data due at 10:00 a.m. ET.
February construction spending is expected at 0.3% vs -0.2% last month.
March ISM manufacturing PMI is expected at 49.5 vs 50.3 last month. Prices paid is forecast to be 65.0 vs 62.4 last month.
February JOLTS job openings is expected to come it at 7.616 million vs 7.740 million last month.
