STOXX DECLINES AS HEALTHCARE AND AUTOS LEADS LOSSES

Europe's STOXX 600 .STOXX is off 0.7%, erasing earlier gains as the backdrop of global trade tension keeps the mood choppy.

Markets are also gearing up for a UK budget update in a few hours.

Leading losses on a sector basis in Europe are healthcare .SXDP and autos .SXAP, down 1.6% and 1.1% respectively.

On the flipside, oil and gas .SXEP names are the top risers, up 0.8%.

Europe's biggest riser is UK online grocer Ocado .OCD.l rising 13.8% after an upgrade from JPMorgan.

Germany's Siemens Energy ENR1n.DE is up 3.2% after saying it will sell 90% of its wind turbine business in India and Sri Lanka to an investor group led by the climate investment arm of buyout group TPG TPG.O.

In the UK, North Sea oil and gas company Ithaca Energy ITH.L is also a big riser up 7.4% after forecasting higher 2025 production.

British homebuilder Vistry VTYV.L is falling 5.7% after saying its annual profit slumped 35%.
