EUROPEAN STOCKS FLAT, MINERS RISE
The STOXX 600 is flat on Monday, with miners .SXPP rising as copper prices firmed and JPMorgan turned positive on the sector.
Major bourses in London .FTSE, Frankfurt .GDAXI and Paris .FCHI are up 0.1%-0.3%.
Markets were paying close attention to any news on tariffs, with the threat of a full-blown trade war likely to keep investors on edge this week.
"Trump tariff uncertainty will remain going into the April 2nd deadline," writes Jefferies economist Mohit Kumar.
Trump on Friday said there will be "flexibility" on tariffs.
In company news, Bayer BAYGn.DE shares are at the bottom of the STOXX 600 after the German life-sciences company was ordered to pay about $2.1 billion to a plaintiff who claimed the company's Roundup weed killer caused cancer.
