
Adds new items, updates futures
Feb 13 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening flat on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.02%.
BARCLAYS: Barclays BARC.L upped its 2025 performance guidance after posting a 24% rise in annual pretax profit for 2024 that beat expectations, as its investment bank enjoyed strong income growth and slower than expected interest rate cuts boosted its domestic lending business.
UNILEVER: Unilever ULVR.L said its ice cream business will be separated by way of demerger, through listing of the business in Amsterdam, London and New York.
BAT: British American Tobacco BATS.L reported a 6.2 billion pound ($7.74 billion) hit from a long-running lawsuit in Canada on Thursday, and warned of "significant" headwinds in Bangladesh and Australia in 2025 after annual revenue missed forecast.
BARCLAYS: Barclays BARC.L has extended the chairmanship of Nigel Higgins for another three years as the bank looks to push ahead with a turnaround plan unveiled last year, the lender said in its annual report on Thursday.
RELX: British business information group RELX REL.L reported a 10% rise in full-year adjusted operating profit on Thursday driven by demand for its data analytics, and it said it expected another year of strong growth in 2025.
LANCASHIRE: British insurer Lancashire Holdings LRE.L said it expects losses of between $145 million and $165 million related to the California wildfires.
ECONOMY: Britain's economy grew by 0.1% in the final quarter of last year, figures from the Office for National Statistics showed
OIL: Oil prices fell about 1% on Thursday.
EX-DIVS: Rank Group RNK.L and Pershing Square PSHP.L will trade without entitlement to its latest dividend pay-out on Thursday.
