BUZZ-EBay jumps; Meta to test showing eBay listings on Facebook Marketplace

Shares of eBay EBAY.O up 6.5% premarket to $67.25, highest since mid-Oct, as Meta Platforms META.O to test showing the e-commerce firm's listings on Facebook Marketplace
Meta said on Weds it would launch a test in Germany, France and the U.S. that will enable buyers to browse eBay listings and then complete their transactions on eBay
It said eBay sellers will gain exposure to Facebook's audience while people using Marketplace will have access to broader array of listings from the eBay community
Through Tues close, EBAY shares up 2% to start 2025. Stock closed at $42.84 a year ago
Shares of META flat at $61.77 before the bell
