Putin is ready for dialogue with the EU but will not initiate it, the Kremlin says
MOSCOW, May 8 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to negotiate with anyone, including the Europeans, the Kremlin said on Friday after the Financial Times reported that European Union leaders were preparing for potential talks.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Putin had repeatedly said that he was ready to negotiate. Russia is ready for dialogue with the Europeans but will not initiate it, Peskov added.
